Active Directory Specialist (L3)

We are looking for a highly skilled Level 3 Active Directory Specialist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing user and group migrations, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, and DHCP server builds and configurations in a hybrid setup. This role involves working with Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) as the migration tool and requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement migration strategies for users and groups from on-premises AD to another on-premises AD using Quest ODM.
• Perform migrations of user accounts, groups, and related objects, ensuring data integrity and resolving issues during the migration process.
• Manage hybrid AD environments and ensure synchronization between on-premises AD and Azure AD with tools like Azure AD Connect.
• Design and manage GPOs, and configure DNS and DHCP servers to ensure reliable network services.
• Provide Level 3 support for complex AD issues and collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Ensure security compliance by enforcing AD policies, conducting regular audits, and addressing security vulnerabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in Active Directory administration and management. 
• Proven experience in designing and implementing AD migrations using Quest ODM. 
• Strong knowledge of hybrid AD environments, including Azure AD and Azure AD Connect. 
• Experience with GPOs, DNS, and DHCP server configuration.
• Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. 
• Proficiency with Quest ODM for AD migrations. 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of other identity management solutions and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
